This project aims to equip young refugee men and women with marketable vocational skills that respond to the current job market needs. By offering hands-on training in trades such as tailoring, hairdressing, mobile phone repair, and graphic design, the initiative seeks to promote economic self-reliance and foster long-term employment opportunities.
Participants will undergo structured, practical training courses conducted by experienced professionals in safe and inclusive learning environments. The training programs are designed not only to provide technical skills but also to strengthen participants’ confidence, creativity, and business sense.
Many refugees, especially youth, face barriers to employment due to lack of education, certifications, or social networks. This project addresses these gaps by providing skillsets that are immediately useful and often lead to self-employment or small business creation. Upon completion, participants may receive toolkits, mentoring, or support to access internships or microloans.
By empowering refugee youth, the project contributes to community stability, reduces dependency on aid, and nurtures a generation of skilled, resilient individuals capable of rebuilding their lives and supporting their families.
