About the Project

This project provides psychosocial support and recreational activities to orphaned refugee children who have suffered from trauma, displacement, and loss. The program aims to restore hope, promote emotional well-being, and offer educational and fun experiences in a safe and caring environment.

Key Components:

  • Psychosocial Support Sessions:
Conducted by trained psychologists and facilitators to help children express emotions, build resilience, and overcome post-traumatic stress symptoms.

  • Recreational Activities:
Includes arts and crafts, storytelling, team games, and cultural expression activities that encourage joy and connection among children.

  • Educational Workshops:
Focused on life skills, emotional regulation, hygiene, and communication—designed in age-appropriate and engaging formats.

Target Group:

  • 300 orphaned children aged 6–14

  • Living in refugee camps or temporary shelters

Objectives:

  • Improve children's psychological and emotional well-being

  • Create a safe space for expression, creativity, and healing

  • Help children rebuild trust, feel seen, and regain a sense of normalcy

Implementation Plan:

  • Weekly group sessions and monthly recreational events

  • Supervised by trained volunteers and specialists

  • Cooperation with local organizations for logistics and referrals

Impact:
The program will directly benefit 300 children while also supporting caregivers and communities indirectly by fostering a healthier environment for childhood development. Through this initiative, we aim to plant seeds of resilience and hope in the lives of those who have endured so much at a young age.
