Bread Loaf Project in Northwest Syria
The bread project, launched by Al-Wafa for Relief and Development, aims to address the urgent need for bread among displaced families in northwest Syria. Recent unrest has displaced around one million people, further straining resources in the region. With many bakeries out of service due to lack of support and indiscriminate shelling, more than 6 million people, including 1.7 million in camps, are facing severe shortages of basic food supplies.
